Most of us took our first oath to the Constitution of the United States of America when we were very young adults.

It never leaves you.

Meet Veterans for John

Veterans for John Duresky is a continuing initiative to give a voice to the veterans and Gold Star Parents in Washington’s Congressional District 4. Duresky’s team has interviewed and recorded the stories of veterans and Gold Star Parents from across the district to learn how their service to the United States and their oath to the constitution has contributed to their support for Retired Air Force Major, John Duresky in the 2026 election.

JOHN DURESKY

Retired Major, U.S. Air Force

I had a 24-year Air Force career and retired as a major. After boot camp and training, I began work as an Avionics Technician, and then became a Commissioned Cyberspace Operations Officer. I’ve led teams throughout my career in deployed network, influence, and airborne communications operations working with the NSA, CIA, and Combatant Commands.

For 13 years after retiring from military service, I managed major federal technology and contractor oversight programs, and at Hanford managed programs budgeted at more than $100 million annually.  

It has been a privilege.
